My car was hit by a hailstorm. What do I do now?
First, We would like to say how sorry we are for your loss. Anytime you have something damaged by someone or something outside your control; we know it's a bad experience, but we're here to help you through this process. First things first; you need to call your insurance company and file a hail claim. They will typically send out an adjuster to meet with you and access the damage. They should give you a copy of their estimate. Finally, you should call and schedule your hail damage repair with Hail-X. It's really that EASY. If we need anything paid for that the insurance company neglected to pay for initially; we'll collect it from them.
Won't my insurance rates go up if I file a claim?
No! Your Insurance policy is separated into two types of coverage. Hail damage falls under your comprehensive coverage and is considered to be no ones fault .
Do I have to use the shop my insurance company recommends?
The short answer is No. You have the right to take your vehicle to whatever repair facility YOU choose. Just because a particular repair company is recommended by your insurance company doesn't necessarily mean they are going to provide you with a better repair. That just means they have a relationship with that repair company.
How do I know what company to use for my auto hail repair?
You should search out a well-established local company with several years of experience and a great reputation. A good working relationship with insurance companies is also a bonus.
